no, the conical air filters sit lower than stock and they conical filters are a higher risk for sucking up water and hydrolocking the engine. If you live in a wet climate and DON'T use the stock splashguard and undercover, then there's an increased chance of hydrolocking. But, if you use both pieces and don't drive in floods, your chances are slim.. not 0%, though.
